Plantar Fasciitis, Heel Pain, Heel Spur

The classic symptom of plantar fasciitis is heel pain when you take your first steps after getting out of bed or after sitting for a long period of time. The fascia tissue that attaches at the calcaneus and extends into the arch of the foot is stressed and has tiny tears like a worn out rubber band. Fortunately, this is something that can be treated and healed with proper foot support. An orthotic that supports the fascia tissue all day and doesn't allow it to keep being reinjured while up and walking can greatly reduce the pain and actually heal the tissue causing plantar fasciitis.
